This is a great article, but depressing. Over the years, and the past eleven months in particular, we've seen a growing lack of ethical and responsible journalism in all the major, "respectable" media outlets. Every channel, every newspaper, rushes stories out with little to no fact-checking or apologies, stories that are full of cherry-picking from practically any source - even social media posts from malicious actors deliberately pushing disinformation - that aligns with their own established narrative and biases.

I truly believe it would be a better world if what you've described applied across the board. I hope, against all hope, that we can somehow bring the ethos you've described into 21st-century journalism.
