Sorry to be another pain in the butt, but I came across https://www.lifehack.org/articles/lifestyle/why-sitting-is-killing-you.html recently and it seems important.
I've personally been using standing desks - or at least, I've been moving from the kitchen table to a dresser that's about the right height - for years, but since the lockdowns began and my 9-5 (or 8-past midnight, depending on the day) moved in with me my body's made it absolutely clear how much damage *not* switching regularly between the two can do to it.
So I'm not sure why you're concerned about getting a standing desk, but I warmly recommend one. Or any hack that serves the same purpose :)
