So... you're complaining about how awful the "acting" is, but also how powerful an impression it succeeded in making on you? My family and I love both of those movies, and the muppets in general. Though I'm definitely not a fan of them being used as mouthpieces for political ideologies, I don't see how they're any different in that sense from "real" actors - I guess I'm all in on them being used to promote good values and education, and on some of the particulars we all might just need to agree to disagree.
