I believe you’ve misunderstood what I’m saying (I thought when I wrote this highlighted excerpt that it was clearly rage against both sides of All The Arguments, I don’t know what else you would have thought “and socialism” implies): one’s rage against whatever it is one’s raging about will achieve nothing.

Before you go diving in to a pro-captialist rant, bear in mind you’re talking to someone who’s studied economics and understands that capitalism is not the problem here. The game being referred to — by both BatmanDobbins and myself — is not capitalism. “Capitalism” is an economic system, the game here is an ideological and political one constructed by industrialism, consumerism and a wealthy elite manipulating our narratives via the media (not only now, but over the course of the last couple of centuries).
