I heard Mike Rowe speaking to congress (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8Lk1KwWEMo) after spending much of my master's degree appalled and disgusted by how our universities and colleges are investing so much of their marketing effort on convincing our youth that a tertiary education that most students can't afford is the only path to money and meaning.

We need to see the value of "dirty" jobs, to understanding that it's not just honest labor, but also honorable labor. And to understand that until we have more enough blue collar workers, it's also incredible lucrative labor!
